for those of you who have these speakers is it easy to mount the smaller speakers around me so i can have the surround sound effect? thanks alot
I got them for 109. shipped. I'm not trying to bash you because your price is good also. Just enjoy them because they are great speakers and the price changes.
yeah i know, i'm pretty satisfied with the price, i cant wait to set them up from all the good things i hear
xsquid, two questions... are the wires that come with them really that bad like i've been reading? and 2, did you put the 4 speakers next to eachother or set them up in any way?
Got mine set up yesterday, I love em!!! Sound is awesome, even at full blast they were still truckin, that sub kicks out some serious bass. So glad that I got in on this, it was deal of the year for me.

Mine were backordered til March--I was checking my online bank statement today, and I've been billed. I checked Dell's site and sure enough, there's a tracking number. They're due for delivery today.
Hopefully I can get them hooked up and listen to them before my wife kills my a$$ dead
Thanks for the incredible deal, and happy holidays !

I am right there with you on this one. Mine are to be delivered today too. I hooked my neighbor's up for him, who ordred two days after me mind you, and they are worth every penny. They just don't understand.

Too funny. I'll meet you in the doghouse at about 9 with a 12-pack.
<< I was half expecting these things to fetch quite a bit more on Fleabay. What's up with that? Is the demand only for the AT'ers? >>
AT'ers are probably more aware that these things give Klipsh a serious run for their money than the public-at-large would be, since we tend to be the tweakhead types. I don't think word has gotten out that these babies kick some serious behind just yet.
I got mine last friday and a couple of times since then the sub starts making this loud low pitch noise. I turn it off and on again and it's still there. A couple of more power cycles and the noise disappears. Any ideas of what this might be? conections? Or have I got a bad sub?
I need some help, quick! I just got mine an hour ago. Is it ok if I put my sub near my system? I've read in the old thread that it should be at least 18" from the system, but since the old thread's deleted, I can't find any info regarding this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be bad connection. Could be interference in the circuit itself..does it tend to happen when, say, someone in another room turns on a certain device? When a furnace or heater kicks on? Is there any device nearby that could be causing interference? It could be a faulty amp, too.

It might be a ground looping problem. Is it buzzing or humming? I saw a couple of products at Radio Shack yesterday that might help.

the manual says the base is highly magnetic or something and to keep it 20 inches away from your monitor, i just installed em and are blasting the Toadies right now (like anybody knows them...sigh )
and oh boy these are some badass speakers
Well , the fuse just blew, dammit! I suspect the rear connection was connected to the wrong output in the audio card, I did not notice because I only connected the front speakers so far and sound was *sight* fine, now to ratshack to buy a fuse and see what happens tomorrow
yea im extemely concern about the how far it should be from my computer. .. since the hugeass sub is right between my server computer n gaming system..
i don't want them to die the same die ... my friend told since they are highly magneticize, so it should be alright, but any expert here know something about that .. i really doubt it will have ne effect on it ..
I have a question, you know how in the manual it says that the sub can get very hot....well whenever i'm not using it, is it sufficient to turn of the power in the Soundtouch Control Center, or do i actually have to turn off the master power switch on the sub to prevent over heating, thanks
