Logitech z680's coming soon, 313 plus 30 shipped

On my list. I like my Z560's.. Yes the bass is powerful.. but that can also be good thing. It's easy enough to tone down via sub knob and soft eq.

If the z680's are an IMPROVEMENT over my z560's.. I'm sold. (I also like how my GTXP will finally get some Digital use now)

I just came back from Best Buy, Costa Mesa CA. I saw a Logitech Z680 in store!!!!

One and only one!!! $399. Get yourself the 10% off preferred customer coupon, then you can have it now!

As for me... I guess I will wait a bit. When the price come down, I will trade in my Z560 speaker because I got the Best Buy coverage plan ;-)

Wtf, with the coverage plan you can trade in your old stuff at the full retail value you paid for it?

You guys probably have never fully take advantage of the Best Buy protection plan.

For example, I got a vacuum 2 yrs ago, which is only like 10amp power around 200. I had the protection plan for it. I take the vacuum to Best Buy store, they checked that it's bad. Since this product does not exist anymore, I get the full $200 credit back to upgrade to any other vacuum.

Now does this make sense? =)

For those who jump at the Palm when it first came out, like $600-800 for a Palm III... I only wish you got the service plan. My friend basically dump the Palm III and got a new WinCE machine =)

1. Doesn?t something have to be wrong with your speakers in order for you to trade them in?

2. AFAIK, in order that this works, best buy must not carry the 560s anymore, and it could be what, years from now before these speakers are no longer carried? The 340s have certainly been around for a while, and they are still carried by BB.

My 560's impressed me for the price. I wonder how well these will do? They will probably sell for about $200-250, if the old 560's prices are anything to go by.
