Ian Poulter? I think he has 1 Top Ten in the majors. He's ok, hangs around near the leaderboard in tournaments, but never has shown the ability to be on the same level as Tiger, Mickelson, etc...

But, he makes headlines by saying stupid things like this and makes a lot of money off of the publicity, so, there you go.

Alright let's say this guy COULD take Tiger right now. I would say who cares about right now if Tiger is saying that he can still improve and feels like he's getting better as he goes?

In all reality, this is like that guy from the Steelers saying they'd beat the Pats. Except that Tiger is on a level superior to the Pats in my opinion.

If it comes down to it, I think I have a better chance at beating Tiger in a golf match than I do at beating Federer at tennis. Doesn't help that I'm astronomically worse at tennis than I am at golf. I'm still leagues below either player in their respective sports.
