If 1983 was their first year, and this is 2007, this would make it their 25th year of publication. Hence that being the 25th anniversary edition.

I actually picked up a 1985 microsoft laptop computer at a yard sale a few years back. I mean hell, one day itll have to be worth something... Oh and it still works ta boot.

i think it was edge? that recently had a retro issue showing many of their older reviews and stuff. horrible stuff, so many of those old games were filled with fmv. even worse was the magazine seemed to show far more screenshots of fmv sequences than actual game play shots and they were so impressed by fmv sequences, but i guess this was before/during t2 times and cg was amazing.

Anniversaries are celebrated at the _end_ of the year. You don't celebrate your second wedding anniversary the year after you're married.

I never understood the obsession with FMV. The only two games I can remember it being used well were in Wing Commander III and Dark Forces 2.
