All I have to say is LOL! Visiontek used to be based near me, and I visited their offices several times before their bankrupcy. (Bought myself a nice executive chair at the auction.) The company who bought up the rest of VisionTek, (Hartford Group or something) are CRAZY. In northern IL they pretty much go around buying stuff and then liquidate what they buy into the ground. Since then I have lost contact with the company and I really have NO IDEA what they are trying to do They do have a pending lawsuit against NVIDIA but I dont really know what for.

The last one they had was funnier. They had the GeforceFX fairy flying around then getting killed.

LOL! At COMDEX when Anand and I first saw the card, we saw an early version of some of the demos with the little fairy. She was actually designed by some (ex)engineers from SquareSoft.

FWIW, VisionTek went bankrupt, a few ex-engineers grouped together to form BFG and manufacture nVidia based graphics cards.
Hartford Group bought up what was left of VisionTek and announced they'll be reentering the consumer market with graphics cards based on ATi's chips. Since then they've done little (besides the occasional mocking add at nVidia).

Ever since shortly before they went bankrupt they've been claiming nVidia owes them a couple million dollars relating to their Retail board business in the US, that's got to the courts and has been kept fairly quiet though.
