The only thing I hate about a new Android OS update is waiting for MX Player to get updated lol.
Well MX player was updated this morning.

May have found my issue. It appears that my WiFi never connects. It is constantly trying to connect to networks that are saved, but the connection never happens. If I turn off cellular data, I get zero connection to my device.
It's in a connection loop that eventually times out and says "poor internet connection", despite the fact that the signal strength is almost 100%.
I assume the reasoning was that it is far easier to reach the app switching button than the tab switching button on the top of the browser - especially as phones are getting bigger with every release!
Been there a couple of times myself. For those wondering, I was able to finally get a successful connection, I reset the phone several times, the radios etc with no luck. I was finally successful when I reset the actual wireless router.
Battery life is worse now on my Nexus 5 with Lillipop. I also don't like the graphical changes.
Is there a way to change the white background for apps to a darker appearance?
I have Lollipop on my 2012 Nexus 7 and, while it's a little bit slower on some UI tasks, it's not by much.I wonder if it will slow my already-slow 2012 Nexus 7 to a crawl.
4 - WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE KEYBOARD!?!? Flat interface and the numbers give it a cluttered look!
For those who want Flash on Android 5: http://bgr.com/2014/11/21/flash-on-android-how-to/
The keyboard theme can be changed back to the old style if you prefer. Long press on the / key next to the space bar to access settings, then appearance, theme. Select either holo dark (or light.)
Well it seems that video is breaking with the Nexus 7 (2013) After watching any video like at YouTube or any video app. After you watch a few it will cease to play anymore unless you reboot.
So yeah.... Android 5 has some major kinks to work out.
Not like this is all that surprising.... Didn't even iOS8 have launch issues too?
I am not a fan of the multi tasking window and prefer how slimrom does it: http://i.imgur.com/giVeSkw.png
No way, that's ugly and old Android style, just giving the icons. I still prefer the app switching up to Kit Kate. I'm not a fan of the 5.0 way.
I also hate not being able to easily put it in silent mode. You literally have to do multiple things to go into silent.
Thanks, that makes a big difference to whether I'll put up with Android 5 or try to switch back to the older version.
I like the part where you'd give up on Lollipop as a whole, based on the easily replaceable keyboard.
I don't know if you just didn't know that you can use whatever keyboard suits your fancy (I'm using Minuum at the moment, may drift back to Swiftkey), how long you've been using Android, or what, but if you don't like a particular thing, just change it and stop whining.
Don't like the lockscreen? Get a new one. Get a new dialer, launcher, contact management, gallery, keyboard, email client, etc. Just stop throwing hissy fits over things that are completely under your control to change.
