Getting the "puppet" effect in CS:S where players are all attached to these huge "bungees" or "strings." Here's a screenshot:

Update:
Upon exiting CS, my desktop gets these little specks all over them. Here's the screenshot:

I use the 71.89 drivers for my video card, made sure I had the latest chipset drivers too, so what could be causing the problem?
UPDATE:
Another pic added and a pic of my desktop after exiting CS added.
UPDATE:
Turned AGP down to 4x, it worked, turned back up to 4x8x and it's still working so I guess it works now? Problem is fixed, hopefully forever but can anyone tell me what the problem might've been? Again, the key was to change the AGP down then back up.
