You're right. Posted pdf rebates don't have that clause.

The one's that printed automatically at the register for this item did.

Anyone have any guidance on using refill kits, reman cartridges, etc. for the ML 2010? This is my first laser and I have no idea what is critical to know about toner carts. I've seen compatible and reman carts for ~$45 or so, and refill kits for ~$40... vs new Samsung toner carts for ~$80.

Any recommended good sources?

Thanks.

they had a good price. On my samsung 1710, there is a plug at one end (about the size of a nickel). You remove the plug, pour it in, and make sure plug gos back in without being loose. Not difficult at all, and hasnt been messy for me either.

Is the original toner cartridge good indefinitely since it also includes the drum? Or do they have a limited number of refills before they are no longer usable?

Will the original toner cart hold a full recharge equal to a new toner cart (3000 pages)?

If they have limited life, then it would seem the reman toner carts would be suspect.

the toner cartridge will need to be changed when the print quality is poor.....my original cart is still doing fineafter a couple refills. When it dies I will prob buy a new one vs a remanufactured cart. I will then reuse the new one till it dies.

my original cart will hold at least 1 bottle of toner, not sure about 2, didnt try.

One complaint about this printer... when I print double-sided, the feed often screws up and takes 2 pages at once from the feed on top of the tray. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm still on my original cartridge and I've printed a fair amount with it.

Just a suggestion: You may want to wait for the paper stack with their first side printed to cool down before you initiate the second side printing. I have never printed lots of dual-sided pages at once though.

The starter toner is rated at 1000 pages. I picked this up from Staples a few weeks ago and ended up having to install a seperate circuit for my computer and the Samsung because when it was on the main circuit in my office it would make the lights dim and flicker when I turned it on. Laser printers draw a lot of juice...

Interesting.

I have this printer plugged into a power strip with 4 other devices powered from it. The strip is powered from my wall socket which also powers my UPS for my PC and all the other items connected to it (2 other printers, router, cable modem, speakers, etc.) and I never see anything dim or behave differently at all.

That is likely to be your wiring and not the printer. To apartments ago one laser and my desktop near tripped the breaker. My last apartment it flickered. My current one (built three years ago) has two laser printers and my desktop (UPS) on two outlets fed by one circuit and has no problems.
