I have a fairly quick computer (Core 2 Duo E6400, 2GB memory) but it's gotten rather slow lately, especially when it comes to opening windows, and some times launching apps. But I really notice it when opening folders. It can take several seconds before the folder opens. It may not seem like a lot but it's out of character for a machine this fast. It was quicker when I first built it.
I've run deep scans of Spy Sweeper and NOD32, nothing fishy. Nothing unusual running in the background. Any ideas on where to start?
