Yep, I have Das Boot on DVD and you actually have to flip the disk. The director's cut is very long; you can skip the first 45 minutes or so. The end is REALLY messed up in that movie! I first saw it in 1983 and loved it. I had to get the DVD.

For those interested, the longest movie ever made was called The Cure For Insomnia which had a running time of 85 hours or 5100 minutes. It was never shown theatrically but it was viewed in it's entirety at The School of Art Institute of Chicago from January 31st to February 3rd, 1987.

Das Boot DC is probably my longest, allthough I've seen the really long version of Dune. Lawrence of Arabia was really long, and it is one of the greatest movie's I've ever seen.
