Seems to me that zero tolerance for sexism is a good thing. But then I'm a male and haven't had to endure it. How about you ask some women how they feel about it--provided you think their opinions actually matter of course.
Seems like progress to me. We don't do deep knee bends, use lead paint or asbestos, and bleed patients to fix "humours" because we have educated ourselves. Or should we go back to those "good old days" too?
Treat people how you'd like to be treated, especially in a professional setting. It's simple. Keep your own insecurities to yourself, hire a counselor--because that's what belittling others is all about....you are fucked up yourself, so bring someone else down so you feel better.
While we are at it, it's so unfortunate we can't enjoy ethnic jokes anymore...I mean, we are all white, er right, here, right? /s if needed.
