It can hurt a bit if you get hit in a unprotected location. But it's nothing serious. It happens so fast that it's over before you even know it.
meaning it hurts like a bitch for a few seconds untill your brain starts to drug you up to make the pain go away

why not get the M60 Deluxe or a Steyr Aug ?

Sounds about right . Last time I got hit in the forehead (unprotected) from 6-10 meters by SG-550. It hurt a bit, but it's nothing unbearable.

M60 or Steyr Aug? M60 is a bit expensive I believe. Steur Aug was my other choice, but SG-550 felt better.

If I remember correctly, there is SG-551 in CS . Why play CS when you can play Airsoft.

to skip the pain part maybe... and the actual movement other than your hands

wish I could get airsoft guns here, can only get paintballguns and I'm not even allowed to have those at home, must be stored at the paintball club, which I must be a member of to get a gun, but thats just legaly, no one does it.
But I want airsoft

There are Airsoft-stores that ship overseas. There's one in Italy, but the name escapes me at the moment. Why can't you have paintball-guns at home? Do like I did: Move to a place of your own . Then YOU make the rules !

Its the law that stops me from doing that, its basicly illegal to own a firearm without a permit of some sorts and for some stupid reason I think they catagorize paintball guns along with normal guns. But paintballing is so new here that they are working on changing it. (first paintball club started 1-2 years ago)

I guess I'll have to move out of the country if I ever decide to buy one

It's illegal there? Well, there is still hope if they are changing the law. It takes time for laws to adjust to new things (like automobiles, women who vote, Airsoft.... )

just having one at home that is, owning one is perfectly legal
but I havent been following this for a long time now, lost interest soon after the first paintball club was started because it costs an arm and a leg to play it :disgust:

Airsoft doesn't seem to be that expensive. Yes, the guns can cost quite a bit, but after that it gets easier. I just upgraded all my equipment. Got the gun, two extra clips (one hi-cap), battery, battery-charger, mask, 3000 rounds, camo-clothes... How much? 580 euros. How much did it cost for me to start Airsoft? Excatly 10 euros (bought a sucky spring-action pistol, borrowed a mask from a friend)

Yep, it cost a bit. But I bought just about everything at one go. After this all I really need to buy is ammo (3000 rounds = 17 euros if I remember correctly) and maybe extra batteries. That is, if I choose not to do any mods. Still, I have spent AlOT more money on computers, so this isn't really that much more expensive that some other hobbies.

Differences between Airsoft and Paintball-guns? Well, airsoft-guns look like 1:1 replicas of the real thing, whereas paintball looks like anything but a gun . airsoft-guns can also fire full-auto or semi-auto. Also, you can modify the airsoft-guns alot. You can add sights, grenade-launchers (don't ask), flashlights, grips, better motors, more accurate barrels etc. etc.

Paintball fires bigger rounds that are filled with paint (well duh!). Airsoft fires smaller rounds (6mm) that have no paint. What do you do with airsoft-guns? You play war basically . Counterstrike, but in real life

a so basicly when you are playing war with paintball guns you see a big spot of paint on people who have been shot but with airsoft you see people rolling on the ground screaming in pain

Well, yes and no. Paintballs can also hurt. They are bigger after all. But they are also slower. airsoft rounds are smaller but faster. The one disadvantage of Airsoft when compared to Paintball is that you can't really cheat in Paintball, because the paint marks you if you get hit. On Airsoft you just have to trust that the people you play with don't cheat.

Pictures of my M16A2 and P90

Go for a scope on that thing, get the SIG mount base and get some decent 3-9x 40mm scope, a rubber armored scope from tapco.com like this one would match the grey body very nicely, along with one of those marui cheekrests. You would also want more mags, standards or hicap. You definetely want a tightbore barrel such as a Systema BS 6.04mm barrel or the KM Head TN 6.04mm titanium coated barrel. Also an upgrade to a 170%/M120 spring would be nice to acheive about 410fps. But I do warn you it is amazingly hard to get to the gearbox of a SIG so you might want to leave it to a professional to upgrade it.
