He is a hack. He is funny because he swings his arms around and has an over the top style that frat boys and girls love. He jacks them from everyone... Louis C.K. called him out about stealing almost an entire set.

If you look at the related videos there are a ton from Louis C.K. and Dane.

You don't think? Unless this is like 10 years ago, I completely disagree with you. Comedy Central has made him a pretty big star. He is no Will Ferrel but then again with movies like Semi-pro I don't know if that is really that big of a deal.

I would say the man is probably one of the bigger new Standup guys.

Reagen isn't spectacular but he isn't bad. You comments made it seem like Gaffigan was some loser who people wouldn't see if it was free.

Sorry if I wrote what I said badly, so that it implied Gaffigan wasn't funny. He's a great comedian. Maybe I'm not giving him enough credit for how famous he is. Other than the occasional Sierra Mist commercial, I can't recall seeing him anywhere other than local comedy clubs in Boston.
