This board was tested by Anandtech and acheived a 667 FSB and DDR of 439. So, if your gonna OC then this is a good board. However, it does have its quirks. First the temps in the BIOS are wrong...well, not wrong just backwards. Mine arrived with a dead on board LAN port, but thats not a big deal seeing how PCI LAN cards are only 10 bucks....but still its BRAND NEW and should work.
My setup
2.4BGHz C1
512 Corsair XMS PC3200 (DDR400)
Vantech Aeroflow HSF with 5400rpm fan and copper core
Western Digital 40Gig 7200 rpm HD
OC: 160x18 = 2.88GHz
OC temps: 100F idle/113F load
Ran Prime test for 18Hrs....no errors
3dMark2001 SE score: 4700 (using a GF4 MX 440); waiting for my TI 4200 to come back.
Other people have this same setup OC'ed at 3GHz and their systems are stable. For the cost ($89) you can't beat it. This board should work just fine for the apps you listed.
If your in the market for a new cd burner I suggest the Liteon 52x24x52 (newegg.com has for $50 ).......I have this one and burn a full audio CD in about 2 mins....comes with Nero.
Couple of things I didn't like about thios board:
Compact size....to remove RAM you have to take Vidoe card out. But alot of mobo's are doing this now.
FDD(3.5 Floppy) is located on other side of PCI slots (weird spot)
Only two USB ports on backplane (4 USB headers on board, for total of six USB ports)
Does not come with USB header cable to bring additional USB ports to backplane via PCI
good luck
