Hey Guys...
Its been a while since I required some hardware help and I am once again finding myself presented with a little conundrum to work around.
Due to my PC/Wii/Cable TV setup, I am around 3-4 metres away from my PC/TV and running a wire down for voice chat with friends is just plain evil, even plugging a USB headset into the USB port in my keyboard is awkward.
I am looking for a wireless solution with 1 or 2 ears, comfy enough for a 3-4 hour stint and provides me with a good quality on both hearing and speaking, good voice clarity. This headset does not need to be great for gaming, I have a 5.1 sound system for that.
At this moment in time, the idea that is prevailant in my mind is USB Bluetooth dongle (probably long range 2.0 etc) and a Bluetooth headset, more commonly associated with mobile phones.
My experience with Bluetooth hasnt been great. The two Bluetooth headsets I have had for my phones have been uncomfortable for even 5 minutes operation and when using Bluetooth in conjuction with my phone and PC on XP or Vista has been less that stable.
I am from the UK, which makes things slightly difficult when I set you all a budget to work from. I dont really want to spend more than £30 in my money... about $60 in direct conversion. Use your discretion and I am sure we'll pull up some great headsets.
Thanks for your help
