Looking for a beer fridge.

As the title states, I'm looking for a beer fridge.

I'd prefer a non full size fridge, as this will also be in my kitchen. I mainly need it to house my homebrew and commercial beer to get it out of our main fridge.

I need a fridge that can hold at least 2 shelves of bottles standing up, preferably 3....

Anyone have one of these or know where I can get one? Thanks.

I have a Haier 4.6 cu ft and it works great...good mix of storage room for reg 12 oz, stubbies, along with bombers.

Any plans to keg? If so think about a kegerator type deal. Lots of brewers wil build tappers out the front of a dedicated fridge. IMO kegging would take precendence over any other equipment bc it save s so much time.

I have a Haier 1.6 Cu Foot in the back of my home theater (bought it a bunch of years ago.)

I'm not very pleased with it as it's small ... and it wastes some of the small space it has on a freezer compartment ...

It will only hold 2 of the 650 or 750ml bottles ... it can hold 20+ cans, but usually I have to take the shelf out to fit most bottles ..

at some point I plan to replace it with something a bit bigger ... something that can hold at least 12 of the 650 or 750ml bottles ...

I've seen these online. Problem is I've never been sure how many they could hold by the pictures. How many beer bottles standing up do you think it could fit?

1. I have a pipeline of 4-5 carboys with 5gal batches fermenting at any one time. That's a hell of alot of kegs to buy, and I doubt I'd drink them quickly enough by the time the next one is ready.

2. I can't give beer out to my friends or bring it anywhere really.

3. Umm...that's it

1. I hear you. I bought all mine years ago from HB clubs who had negotiated large lots of used cornies from the cola bottlers. I think I paid on average about $10/keg. I would guess they are more now.

2. you can still fill bottles from a keg... or take a keg with you. They make little co2 cartridges for mobile keggers.

Seriously... the time you save kegging is proportional to the amt you brew so I aint buying you're pipeline argument.
