Looking for a good online store with a broad selection of HSFs

I'm ditching my poor performer Alpha PAL6035 and looking for something else. 2cooltek.com and coolerguys.com are the only cooling sites/stores I know of, but their selection is not so good. Can anyone recommend some great places to buy heatsinks & fans from?

I really like my Alpha PAL6035. If that isnt good enough for you, may need to go beyong air cooling, and onto watercooling.

I must have a defective clip, or something. It's not making proper contact with my CPU die. I've tried literally everything, different amounts of thermal grease, reorienting the clip, etc. I give up. I've heard of other stories about PAL6035s not cooling properly. I might go for the CPC-30370 heatsink instead.

What is your case temp during all of this(or motherboard temp)?

If that is high, then no amount of case cooling is going to reduce that cpu "reading" temp. ON top of that, a 60C temp depending on your case temp is fairly normal on an A7V class mb.

M/b temp is about 29C, pretty good.

Well, the 60C temp can't be too normal, because I'm getting lock-ups while running Direct3D games. After reboot, I see the CPU socket temp is about 72C or so (approaching deadly).

I'll second the service at sidewinder.
As for the Alpha you got, have you tried flipping the fan??
That alone let me go from 819 to 867. I know most will say it is to be this way or that, but try it . You already got it and all you got to save is money.
