I bought a Shuttle Barebones system from Fry's last month, it was on clearance and it was a customer return, but it was only $70 so I thought it was worth checking out. I just got around to setting it up. The motherboard was acting flaky so I tried updating the BIOS, but it failed. The boot block intact so I tried to recover the bios, but motherboard doesn't recognize the floppy drive or keyboard. I think the previous customer had wrecked the motherboard somehow. Its already been 14 days so I can't return it.
I still like the case, so now I am looking for a cheap microBTX board, that would support an Intel e2XXX series CPU. I found some Intel ones on geeks.com but the highest cpu they would support is a Pentium 4. I can't find any on newegg either. So any links be helpful.
