Looking for a new Video card for under $200

Is there something better out there than the ATI Radeon 9500 Pro? I've found that for $190.

I'm not looking for the best price necessarily, just the best card for around $200. I meant is there something better than the ATI Radeon 9500 Pro for under $200.

9500 Pro 128MB is the best for under $200.

Makor, 9500 Pro is the best bet right now, probably until the 9600 comes out. You could save up a little more and get a 9700 Non Pro but those cost like $240.

This is my current system:

Epox 8K7A motherboard
1.33 Ghz Thunderbird
512MB PC2100 DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 64MB DDR

Would the 9500 Pro be overkill for this system?

Not really overkill..... 1.33ghz is very fast.

That's a decent system for it, might want to get a beefier CPU down the line, but it'll do with the 9500Pro. And don't mind the 8X AGP feature as it doesn't make a discernable difference.

If it's possible to save up another $40 or so, a 9700 would be more futureproof I think, but a 9500 is nothing to sneeze at.

I think if you look hard enough you can find a non 9700 for a little over 200.

I think that you just have to overclock them. That said, my 9700 can't reach 9700 pro speed.
