looking for a TV : )

hello ,

I'm looking for a college TV, not a very big one, but not a small one too : ) ... well , it should be just fine TV, it's better to have a S-Video in , and display computer text pretty well : ) ...

any suggestions ?


p.s. I don't know the prices for a tvs , but it's preferebly to be in $200 and lower range : )

Very, very few smaller TV's have S-video in. The only one I know of is the high-end 20" Wega. But they're $400. There may be some cheaper flat screens in that size range with s-video in, but it's not common.

BTW, until two weeks ago I had the 20" Wega, it rocked. But I like my 27" better.

That one looks cool. I'll have to keep in mind that Panasonic makes nice small TV's in a couple months when I move into an apartment on my own and have to get a bigger TV than the 13&quot; in my room. Cool deal.

toshiba makes a nice stereo 20&quot; with COMPONENT video in and svideo in that you can get new for $300 at bestbuy (.com or B&amp;M) i really like it... thinking of getting it for my TINY living room

Yep, been thinking about it ever since I bought a DVD player and had to buy all kinds of adapters, cables and other crap to make it work with my ancient VCR and even more ancient TV.

As far as televisions that small, Panasonic makes one of the nicest looking screens out there, with their Panablack line. I've never been a big fan of their products but their smaller TVs rock. As far as anything 27&quot;+, Toshiba or Wega is the way to go, but price being a concern here I'm thinking 20&quot; or smaller is the only option you have.

My suggestion to you would be to check out the televisions at a local shop then buy it online if you can find a place to ship it.
