Looking for headphone advice...

Hey-


Basically, I'm looking for some opinions on the best headphones for around $100-$150, as well as a good place to get them from (Price wise). If there is a set that is slightly more than $150, LMK and I'll see if I can make my bank account stretch a bit more. Mainly looking for a closed type design, so not too much noise can be heard from the people around me.
Does Sony make good headphones? I have a Fry's nearby, and know that they have quite a few of the upper end sony models, but I'm not sure if their prices are competitve.

The Sennheiser HD580s has always been my favorite (but I am still hoping to get the Orpheus some time in the distant future )

Anyone have a link of somewhere that even sells the EH2270's? Having problems finding them.

Without doing a whole lot of searching I found a pair of those here and it appears they take paypal so you should feel REASONABLY safe if they're verified. I found this on google so do some searches by model number on there and see what else you come up with. The place I linked sells them for $99 shipped.

The Sennheiser 495's are pretty good for under $100. Headphone has a good reference for reviews on models, as well as good prices, and you might also want to check out Sennheiser under the refurbs link for some good deals. They have the same warranty as new, but I still prefer new and unopened.

The 570 and 580 are open air, but i never seen that as a problem, i accually prefer it.

Sony's Studio Monitor headphones are really exellent with a flat responce.

I hate to bring up ubid, but the 580's can be won for around 110-130 WITH the surround processor. The 570 was won by my brother for 70ish. BTW, the 2200 is decent but between the 580 and 2200, it's no contest.
