Looking for headphone recommendations

I'm looking for a half decent pair of headphones, preferably under $40-50 for gaming/music. They don't have to be top of the line, just provide good sound and wear comfortably. I wear glasses though, so that makes things trickier in the comfort department. The ones I use now are some old Sony ones that wrap behind your head and clip onto your ears, and they press against the "arms" of my glasses after wearing them for a while and get pretty uncomfortable.

Anyone have any experience with headphones and glasses? Earbuds would eliminate the problem entirely, so that's another option too.

u should step up ur budget to $100 and get the HD555's u will not regret them.

the cushioning around the ear is very soft and will work with glasses

I'm not sure how the 555s are, but my 580s are great with glasses.

I love my Grado SR80's, but they were $100 when I got them over 6 years ago. SR60's are a bit cheaper. Still good though.

In your price range, I find it hard to find much of anything good - simply put, I'd just go somewhere and audition them if at all possible. For gaming, I use a $15 set of Altec Lansing behind-the-head headphones I got at Target. It works, and when I get ticked off, I don't mind throwing them.

Check out Audio Technica or AKG offerings at a local music store. They'll probably be better and more accurate than anything you'll find at a big box store. Sennheiser, of course, always offers decent quality. Can't speak for their budget 'phones though, as I have never used them.

EDIT - Oh yeah, and I do wear glasses, so I know what you're going through!
