I've been doing some research with the physics department at my college over the summer, measuring the changing capacitance and conductivity of a bnc probe immersed in curing cement. Unfortunately, however, the data acquisition unit that we are currently using to monitor and record the values at certain time intervals via "LabView" software only supports a single input.
Since we want to begin running multiple experimental trials at once, we are looking for a sequential switcher that would cycle through multiple BNC inputs at a specified time interval, (the dwell time must be 60seconds or more, preferably 120 seconds). At first we had considered using CCTV/ security surveillance equipment that was designed to cycle through multiple security camera inputs over time, however, all the switchers designed for this purpose operate at 75 ohms, while we require 50 ohm inputs and outputs to be compatible with the rest of our equipment.
If there are any physics educators, professors/etc that have any idea where we could obtain this equipment, I would appreciate the information. Thanks in advance.
