Looking for Optical Mouse

I've been looking for an optical mouse for quite awhile to replace my Logitech Mouseman Wheel. There is nothing wrong with the old mouse except that I'm sick and tired to clean up the dust inside the mouse. I went to local Staples to test out all the mouse available, and it seemed that there is no mouse that is similiar to Logitech Mouseman Wheel (the size and the ergonomical design). Could you guys recommend some OPTICAL mouse that (1) ergonomical design (2) slightly bigger than MS mouse. Thank you very much.

if you can then get the old blue ones, logitech mouseman wheel optical or whatever its called, has exactly the same design as your mouse. The new ones are good I think. Just get some mouseman

the blue optical mouseman was the last best design from logitech. I hate the new ones. I'm also fed up w/ logitech's drivers.. i cannot scroll properly in acdsee and similar things (always skips an image.. works fine w/ windows drivers.. but i lose my thumb button).

The BEST design i've seen so far is MS's new wireless optical.. it looks funny, but extremely comfortable. Only thing is it's wireless.. i'd rather have a wired one (and it'd be cheaper that way). The old ms explorer follows that. The new one is ok, but the thumb buttons feel like they'll fall off w/in a month of use. don't like that.

For the mouse scrolling problem, try selecting MS Office compatible scroll and scroll in active window only. I had a similar problem, and that took care of it.

I reccommend the Logitech Ifeel Mouse because it's so good for gaming.

they may not fall off, but they sure feel a lot weaker than all the other mice MS has made

Job... yeah.. i need one of those

As for MS compatibility.. it worked before.. but i've never gotten it to work again for some reason. I think it will work if i don't do the game wheel hack (which is not an option). It's these little things that have had me fed up. But it looks like a new version of the drivers are out.. i'll give them a try and see how it goes.

staples has nothing in terms of peripherals.

Head to compusa or something. More on display.

if you play games, i would highly recommend the logitech dual optical, its a very nice mouse and its great for games. the tracking is very accurate, and i can finally do 180's without having to turn up the sensitivity sky high.
