looking for shuttle-like mini system...

i'm building a new system this summer, and i'd love to make it as small as possible (call student that travels quite often). definetly want to go with an athlon xp processor, system will have cd burner and two hard drives...

here is the sticking point: i want an AGP slot. would get the athlon capable shuttle system, but alas, integrated video with no AGP...even though the system is otherwise PERFECT for my needs.

any thoughts?

Good question, and I am curious as well. The Shuttle is nice, but the lack of an AGP slot or decent onboard video is a no-go for me. Anyone else seen a good small setup with AGP?

I suspect the Inwin L545 case might be a good fit for you. I've got one and it is quite small, yet accepts any mATX mb.
Has 1 vertically mounted 5.25 bay, 2 3.5" bays. You wouldn't have room for a floppy though.

Sticking point: is the PS (180w) for an XP. The guy at PCClub said they have had Athlon XPs (1600 I think) running fine in them, but ....
Hmmm..... can't seem to find AMD recommended list of PS anymore. PS can be replaced, but is a ? mATX format (not the standard ATX one).
Cooling is another issue. Tight space for CPU cooler (a little over 50mm), cables everywhere, only one exhaust 60mm.

I quite like it, though I only have a Duron 750 on a KM133A board in it.
