I'm building a dual 4U server, and it will have 2 CPUs in it, I'm looking for the best and least expensive coolers for it, they must be very reliable because the server will be at a hosting company in Canada so I won't see it or will have an ability to fix it if something goes wrong. Can someone recommend a good heatsink/fan?

Also I need the same thing for the power supply, I found this Startech.com PS
http://www.startech.com/ststore/itemdetail.cfm?product_id=ATXPOW320P4

Can someone tell me if it's any good?

Thx.

If this is a remote server with 24/7 uptime being Job 1, than reliability should take precedence over cost.

Assuming the CPU's are FPGA, than I'd use Thermaltake Volcano 5's and probably a dual fan Enermax power supply. I'd also have push/pull ball bearing case fans.

I'd also make sure the motherboard supports hardware monitoring and you might want to use a pgm such as Motherboard Monitor.

I'm confident that this type of system would ensure enough redundancy such that any one fan could fail with no impact to uptime. (a Volcano 5 heatsink without the fan running can keep the CPU below critical temp as long as you have good case cooling)

Intel Retail ones suck, I can't trust them for a bit.
I need an uptime at least for 1-2 years and I don't want it to fail because of cheap cooling solution.

<< Intel Retail ones suck >>

I'd have to disagree on that one. The Intel retail HS/fans are very good. They use Sanyo Denki fans, which are good quality. I've never seen a fan fail on one.

Try Thermaltake P/N FC0370. Form factor is probably OK but it's kind of whimpy.

Thermalright SK-6 copper. Not too big, all 60mm fans fit fine. Really soak up the therms.
