looking to buy a mirrorless camera.

Relatively fast low-light auto focus.
Easy access to manual aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and WB.
It doesn't need fancy stuff like 3D stereoscopic vision or infrared.
Would like video at least 1080, do not need 2K or 4K but wont turn it down.
I have small hands. Like Donald. Except not orange.

Want to spend under a thousand American dollars. Will most likely buy at Amazon. Am going to put my T3i on ebay soon.

I really like the Fuji ecosystem. I just upgraded my X-T1 to an X-T2 .. sold X-T1 for $300 and bought the 2 used for $500. The primes are really nice .. at one point I had the 16mm f1.4, 23 1.4 and 56 1.2 but only have the standard 16-55 2.8 zoom now and that suits my needs well. The 18-55 kit zoom is supposed to be really good and compact but I have never used it. They do video starting with the X-T2 gen (up to the fourth gen now but it's quite expensive and IQ improvements have been minimal .. mostly because the sensor was so good already in the second gen)

my little m100 focuses really fast. that dual pixel AF is no joke. my olympus (CDAF only) isn't as fast and doesn't track as well.

edit: m100 also works fine with adapted canon SLR lenses. i have 20+ year old lenses that just work. i wouldn't recommend the m100 as something easy to access exposure settings as they're all done from screen controls. but something like an m5/50/6 might be more up to speed, particularly if you have canon lenses already.

If you're looking into Fuji, their X-T20 or newer X-T30 is solid. It has most of the features of their former flagship X-T2 and X-T3 bodies but at a lower cost.

I'm a little biased as I personally own an X-T3 but here's what DP Review has to say about the X-T30:

I tried the Sony a6400. it had the best features but not an easy to grab body.
I tried the Fuji X-T30 and it had inferior features.
I currently have the Nikon Z50 and it has a nice easy to grab body but also inferior features.

Sony and their ergonomics. Consider adding a grip extension, cage or vertical battery grip to help improve the ergonomics if the camera fits the bill.

I know I did with the A73 and although it didn't help making the distance between the lens mount and lenses any bigger, it did help with the hand-hold-ability since my pinky can wrap around the extra ~3/4in extension.
