Looking to print about 200 business cards

So this is my first time ever getting business cards and was wondering if ATOT had any preferred places as to where to get them printed from?

any tips for a good business card?
i was thinking a more simplistic design

I've used several online providers for my company, including Vista Print. I've never had such poor quality business cards. It always looks as though someone printed and cut them by hand, and though that's not inherently a problem there were always defects involved. Not a great impression, in my opinion.

I'd locate someone locally that can work with you. They'll give you samples, so you can see everything upfront. You might pay as much as 50% more, but you get what you pay for generally.

Lots of nay sayers come out of the woodwork when they hear VistaPrint but I also recommend them. We use them for all kinds of things and have always been impressed with the quality. Just don't get scammed and pay for any express shipping. Normally when I order BCs they ship within about 3 days with the cheap shipping.

Weive gotten business cards, postcard, invitations, brochures, signs, stamps, etc and have never not been happy.

Watch for their sale on Premium cards though. Tie Free normal ones have the VistaPrint logo and such on the back.

meh, I wasn't too impressed w/ vista print. they were OK, but didn't feel all that professional honestly. that and they spammed the hell out of me.

Yeah, I get emails from them every other day or so. But GMail filters them all for me so I never even look at them unless I'm ready to order something.

Some people say they call them too but I've never been called by them for anything.

Yep. Better quality for the money than vistaprint was. IMO anyway.

For only 200, I'd suggest just getting the pre-perforated paper from Staples and print them yourself. If you find yourself going through those quick, and want something higher quality, then get them designed and printed by someone else.

yeah i really disliked vista print but they were free ....
not too keen on printing them my self, dont have a good color printer as i never needed on

Yep. Better quality for the money than vistaprint was. IMO anyway.

I got my last ones from vistaprint. The print quality was pretty nice on glossy, but the cards were pretty thin. Overall, it wasn't that bad for the price.

edit: we purchased the premium business cards. She accidentally ordered twice; we got showered with free stuff - t-shirt, pens, notepads, etc. Definitely got our money's worth.
