Took this pic new years day. There was maybe 1/5th the snow here the same time last year. Off to a much better start.

Last year I only had to shovel snow twice. This year so far I have only had to shovel once. There's about 2 more serious months of winter left.

We could really use the moisture though, even if it is just runoff into the rivers.

I agree completely. This weather pisses me off. We had some snow showers around Xmas which was nice, but it wasn't a real snow. Winter is supposed to be cold, so I wish it would get cold. Summer can go to hell. My perfect year would have 8 months of fall, 3 months of winter, and 1 month of spring.

Speak for yourself. We've already had quite a bit of snow; I took a photo of the snow depth when I was clearing out the driveway the other day. Easily 15" in one snowfall. I have 7 foot long icicles on my house from all the snow slowly melting and dripping off the edge of the roof.

Though, the temperatures haven't been horrible. I really don't mind the snow at all. I even went to the trouble of getting the tractor out to clear the driveway a little bit. What I'm not looking forward to is the 50 degree temperatures this weekend = mud.

A big thumbs up here. I'll adjust slightly and say 2 months winter and 2 months spring. 8 of fall is fine by me. I love a good sunny fall day around 60-70F.... Best thing ever.
