I've noticed a few things since I started using trillian, you can't put in html code in your aim profile-aim v 4.7 and above allows you to do so- and if you get aim bot flooded it crashes trillian entirely. btw I was getting that error message so I dloaded aim and I tried trillian aim the other day and it worked.

Have you tried using your ICQ# instead of your username in the proxy login field? Or is the username a username you need to use to access the proxy server?
