It disturbs me when the media makes funny with MTG and George Santos. It implies they have a place and almost makes them appear human. It allows a kind or type of acceptance, instead of focusing on the defective humans that they really are. Oh that crazy Representative Santos, of that nutty Representative Marjorie, they are so silly.

As dangerous as they are, and the major damage both are capable of doing to every single American citizen, the label appearing before their name is the real threat, "Representative". When people like Greene and Santos acquire the position of Representative, that is nothing to laugh about. And the media constantly making fun and funny is giving them credibility.

The GOP isn't even trying to hide that it's officially taking the extremist position. There is nobody in the Republican party anymore that isn't a fascist. Every member of a minority group needs to understand who this party is embracing and be sure to be armed, because if they think they can get away with it, they WILL come for you.

Being armed will not help you if the the government comes for you. Any given government agency vastly out classes you in mutations, training, organization, and manpower. You only real hope in that case is to get the military to support you.
If it is really your worry that the government is going to turn on it's people and use force against you, then you are much better off spending the money you would use to buy gun instead buying care packages for service members.

In the end any sort of civil war in the US is going to come down to who the military supports, and how many of them support who. If you really believe this then give them reasons to be on your side. If you are wrong the worst that happens is that you have made some service members day a bit better, and that is worth doing on it's own.
