The real problem is that the bill would close 37 of 42 abortion clinics in the state, severely reducing the availability of women to receive adequate care, and likely forcing many to choose unsafe procedures in Mexico.

It's pretty ironic that you're making jokes about representative democracy in Texas when you're advocating for mob rule instead of elected legislators. Is that what you want, skip the elections and just proceed to whichever side can whip up the largest crowd at the statehouse wins?
