Funny part is, most of the people are probably going to be subject to a mandatory evactuation and will likely be only allowed to bring what essentials they can carry, so stealing a TV is pretty stupid since you are going to wind up just leaving it back at your ruined home for months while you stay at a tent city. By them time you get back, it may have been stolen from you, rained on, etc. Kinda pointless to loot anything except items you need for survival.

You are not being racist. But I think I have an explanation (or at least I would like to think there is one). This is inner-city shots. Black people outnumber white people in the inner city.

Keep in mind, a lot of people on this forum seem to have never been south of the southern border of Idaho and can't really conceptualize what a place like New Orleans is population-wise. It's quite amusing to hear them flapping their lips. Yeah...so... someone is taking diet pepsi and beer... what else are you going to drink? Sewage??

The summary of my argument, in advance, is that most of the poor people in New Orleans are black. This does not mean that most black people in New Orleans are poor. With that out of the way, let me continue. New Orleans is a fairly "black" city, but it's still a city that, like pretty much every other city in America, was a pretty damn racist place up until maybe 20 years ago. (Which is not to say it's not still racist, just that it got a little less racist since) The bigot redneck majority during this time made sure to push all the "inferiors" into the crappiest, most poverty-stricken places in the town. This is better known as "creating a ghetto." It's the same reason why you see so many black people in the ghetto in pretty much any major metropolitan area in the US: not even 50 years ago trying to live anywhere else would have gotten these people beaten/killed/etc. People like to forget that little bit of information and instead preffer to blame it on "racial inferiority" or "cultural idiocy" or some other retarded theory.

So anyway, it's because The Man made sure most of the poor people would be black, if that doesn't sound too conspiracy-esque for you.

Just saw on the news that a bunch of looters broke into a Wal-Mart and stole the whole inventory of guns they had. That should be interesting.

And I was talking to my mom on the phone earlier today and she said that a reporter was interviewing one of the looters and asked why he was looting. The guy responds: "Because we as black people have been opressed for so many years." STFU asshole and stop stealing sh!t.

QFT. If you live in Memphis, there is no other way to describe it. 90% (NOTE: 90%, not 100%) of blacks are heathens. Hell, even Memphis' mayor Willie Herenton has "an outside child". Does having babies out of wedlock mean anything? No. Does stealing mean anything? No. Does the school system mean anything? No. Does driving in a huge Escalade with 20" rims payed with money ment to be used for the city mean anything? No.

That's just "Mayor" Willie Herenton. Not to mention all of the other heathens running around.

And if you payed attention to the recent sting operation taregting several Memphis and TN goverment officials, you would know why it makes people like me angry.

I have plenty of black friends who are in that 10% who actually behave like human beings. But the rest are just animalistic. For those who don't see it everyday as I do (I work in one of worst parts of town), you might think I'm crazy. I was even resentful towards those who had been saying stuff like I do, before I started work where I do now.

Sorry, should have been clearer; they forced as many as they could into the ghetto.
