Well it's no secret that I absolutely love the game, but I think it will depend on what you want from an MMO. Do you like questing and PVE? Or do you prefer grinding and PVP? If the former, then you may enjoy this game, if the latter, then, well maybe not.

I think it is definitely worth trying. See if you can find a buddy key around to give it a shot.

If/when you do get into the game, come to Gladden and look me up, me and my kinmates will do everything we can to help out!

I'm not sure how to get a buddy key. They should really just give you a 7 day limited trial.

Free trials without buddy keys for MMORPGs are bad for the current playerbase, farmers adore them and your in game spam along with the farmer population reflect that.

on the lotr site they say somethign about not having a free trial and this is somethign that most mmorpgs don't do.

several mmorpgs offer free trials - WoW, EQ2, EVE, DAOC, UO,

Well I would feel bad taking someone's buddy key. Perhaps I will just buy it and play it for a month and see if I like it.

My birthday is coming up on the 27th and this game looks pretty interesting. I've been playing WoW but it gets boring sometimes...anyone want to give me a buddy-key for my birthday present so I can try this game out?

Yes, there is a link in the e-mail where you can go to download the client.

Hopefully a new round of keys will go out soon so we can hook all of you guys up!
