Me Aragorn!

Aragorn is the uncrowned king of the north-western part of Middle-earth.

Although Aragorn was a direct descendant of the Kings of Numenor and the rightful claimant to the Kingdom of Gondor, he first came to the knowledge of the Hobbits in his guise as a Ranger, a collection of rather grim looking men who travelled throughout Middle-earth, protecting its inhabitants from evil.

This usually thankless task was probably the main reason that there had been peace and prosperity in the Shire for so long. Aragorn was also the keeper of Anduril, "the sword that was broken" and when it was eventually re-forged it signalled his intent to re-take his throne and to rule over the new age of men. However, while Sauron still held power in Mordor, Middle-earth would eventually fall to the Dark Lord. Aragorn was a key figure in the Fellowship, and without his courage, wisdom and strength, the quest would never have succeeded.

Galadriel is the majestic elf queen of Lothlórien

The Queen of the elven realm of Lorien, and wife of Celeborn, called the Lady of Light, Galadriel is a wielder of great power and wisdom. Although of significant age, she appears as a beautiful young woman. Galadriel is considered one of the mightiest of the Eldar, and it because of her power alone that Lorien has remained a sanctuary against Sauron and his evil.

She rules her kind with benevolence and grace. She aids the Fellowship with special gifts and sound counsel, products of her power and wisdom. Frodo freely offered her the One Ring, and she refused. Because of this and her long opposition to Sauron, the Valar permitted her to return to Valinor.

Damn, I am Gimli. (And if you'd asked people that know me, they probably would have said that anyway.)

That thing gets massive points for being a cool way of doing a test, instead of just radio buttons and checkboxes. Plus, they use the old cartoon images of the characters.

Sweet! I am a Black Rider!

"Black Riders (Nazgûl) are evil servants and generals of Sauron the Ring Lord"

I think that's pretty good....

Black Rider, that means you have no control over yourself, you're bent to the will of another, and you're forever leading a tortured half-life. You may have a lot of power, but you can't use it for yourself. In fact, I'm not sure a black rider even has any desires of his own anymore.

So, have fun!

I'm Sam Gangee.

I guess this means I'm a brave fellow (brought the ring as far as he could), who is horny (all the kids he has), and dabbles in government (mayor).

Gimli is an energetic, axe-wielding warrior.

A Dwarf of Erebor (also called The Lonely Mountain). The son of Gloin -- who was a companion of Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit -- Gimli accompanies his father to Rivendell, and there is chosen to join the Fellowship of the Ring as a representative of the Dwarven people.

He aided Gandalf in leading the company through Moria. He was the first dwarf to enter Lorien since Durin's Day, and was held in awe by the beauty of the Lady Galadriel. He became very close friends with Legolas, and journeyed throughout Middle Earth with him after the War of the Ring.

Also after the War of the Ring, Gimli led a band of dwarvish smiths in reforging the gates of Gondor in mithril and steel, and he was the Lord of the Glittering Caves.

I got Gandalf, but only because I'm using opera and it won't let you drag any of the rings, so all the answers were always.

Im Sauron

Sauron is The Dark Lord and maker of the One Ring that holds power over all the others.

The most powerful being in Middle-earth, the evil Lord has put much of his own strength into the One Ring. As long as it still exists, Sauron cannot fully be destroyed. During his stay at Dol-Guldur, he was known as the Necromancer.

He was in a constant, sleepless search for the Ring, building his armies, and breeding fell races to do his bidding. His greatest servants were the 9, the Nazgul, servants of the Ring, and were Kings of old who had been ensnared into service by the Nine Rings of Men. Even though Sauron did not possess the Ring, its existence gave him enough strength to eventually overcome Middle Earth, and Gandalf and Elrond knew that the only decision was to destroy the Ring, a deed which Sauron had never thought of, and could not fathom.

I didnt think I answered the questions that negatively

I'm Frodo!

Frodo Baggins is the one that is sent out to save Middle-earth.

Frodo is a hobbit who, unasked, finds himself with the responsibility for the future of Middle-earth in his own hands. Or, more accurately, on his own fingers, for he is the reluctant keeper of the One ring, forged by the Dark Lord Sauron and holding the greater part of his power.

His comfortable, rustic exterior belies an inner resolve which will be tested to the full on his journey through Middle-earth to try and destroy the ring. Unbeknown to Frodo, a circle of his close friends form an alliance to ensure that he doesn?t undertake the task alone.

This is the beginning of the Fellowship of the ring, which eventually will include Men of noble birth, an unyielding Dwarf, a High Elf and one of the greatest Wizards of the age. As his quest progresses, Frodo has to draw on the last reserves of his strength to combat increasingly horrific foes, and demonstrates the innate courage of the Hobbit folk.

Gandalf is a poweful magician, and the worst enemy of the Dark Lord.

Gandalf has been said to be the person most responsible for Sauron's downfall, labouring nonstop for roughly 2000 years to put an end to his reign. Gandalf was the bearer of Narya, the Ring of Fire, given to him by Cirdan when he arrived in Middle Earth.

Gandalf always held Hobbits near to his heart, and he also held their race in high regard. In the year 3001, he set in motion the Quest of Mount Doom. Gandalf was one of the most important people at the Council of Elrond, because he alone knew the full history of Sauron and the Ring. Although he fell battling the Balrog in Moria, he made his way back to Middle Earth as Gandalf the White to complete his errand.

He was responsible for casting Saruman out and taking over as the head of the White Council. After the War of the Ring Gandalf sailed from the Grey Havens with Elrond, Bilbo, Galadriel, Legolas and Frodo.
