couldn't find it on google maps..

Latitude 4.815 and longitude 162.342

link

4.81 5.162342 are the co-ordinates of the other side of the world which is on the coast of Nigeria, but the question is how did the nigerian drug plane get to the other side of the world?

Six Worlds

The six spokes divide the wheel into six sections which represent the Six Worlds (or Realms) of Existence. These Six Worlds are:

1. the World of Devas or Gods
2. the World of Asuras, Demigods, Titans, Fighting Demons
3. the World of Humans
4. the World of Animals
5. the World of Hungry Ghosts
6. the World of Hell

when this series ends they (the writers) has to write a book and explain all this sh!t

I just hope they don't get TOO complicated. That's part of what ruined the Matrix sequels.

And the people with Jack etc so humane?

And did you notice in the Orientation video how the benefactor of the experiment they set up was this mysterious type guy way up high in the office building? Obviously this is some "evil" and dirty" experiment of somet nature.

I also think that the pirate/slave ship plays into it... so we have 1 island, we know a priate ship landed 100s of years ago on it, and a French science teams accidentally got ship wrecked on it? and a jet liner crash near it? And a boating/yacht accident? AND the drug runner plane? And this is the electormagnetic station? Hmmm something drawing unknowing participants towards the island? So that there is an endless cycle of lab rats?

Edit: oh, and we know for certain there are more stations to this experiment. I think he said "Swan is station 3, the electromagnetic station on this island" (paraphrased) So does that mean more islands? Or more stations on that 1 island.

And Jack is a pussy for pushing the button.

Yup. I agree. This island is some sort of Bermuda Triangle effect/experiment.

HERE'S WHAT WILL HAPPEN:
1.) JJ Abrams wants to make it to syndication (i.e. millions).
2.) JJ and writers started with a premise for the pilot and enough episode stories for a season.
3.) The show becomes successful, and JJ/writers start inventing shyte to keep the series going until syndication. With only enough "answer gifts" to keep the people watching.
4.) JJ/writers start concoting so many questions and dead-end stories that the whole thing by series end is a mish-mash of contradicting, ill-thought out story lines.
5.) Viewership will fall as people become frustrated. JJ Abrams goal of making a movie will falter due to "unsatisfactory" viewership. So the final 2 hour made for TV episode will try to tie the most important story lines together in a mediocre "C" grade way. THE END.

CONCLUSION:
The show is a floating turd. The show, like the Matrix Trilogy or Twin Peaks will add so many unanswered clues that it'll end up in the failed cult classic trash bin.

I thought you meant you'll be watching the show with your other "Chipotle" in your hand. LOL

Kate and Shannon are pretty hot, so I guess I can see where you're coming from.

I LOVE this show
I HATE this show

I can't believe they sucked me into watching this every Wednesday night, I feel like a teeny bopper running home to watch the daily soap opera. I can't help myself, this show makes no sense and I keep on watching to answer all these questions, but just get left hanging week after week. The writers/producers are brilliant, we all can't stop watching this insane show while all the time the sponsers keep on making $$$, pure genius. Somebody make it stop.

- we know what the island is.

- we know the function of the monster.

- we know who built the hatch and why.

- we know who the others are and how they wound up on the island.

- we know the back-stories of our characters and the past transgressions that they will be working out in the crucible of the island.

- we knew how the first season would end well in advance and already know how the second will end as well.

- we know that we can?t hinge the endings of the third and fourth seasons on any particular revelations yet because we don?t know how long the series will last and have to time our disclosure of our secrets accordingly.

- we know why oceanic 815 crash landed on the island.

here are some other parts of our master plan:

- we invent stories for the daily life of the characters on the island on an ongoing basis because exploration of mythology alone doesn?t allow you to create compelling drama: with every episode we ask ourselves the question ?what?s going on in the island and how can we use that to show off the problems of our characters and reveal some of our mythological elements.?

- we allow ourselves the freedom to incorporate new ideas that improve and enhance our story (another example ? the moment the hatch appeared, we knew there?d be a person down there, but Desmond?s individual story did not develop until later).

- we know the show will end when we reveal the true makeup of the island and why our characters landed there.

everything will get tied up

some stories and details will become irrelevant as more information is revealed, while other storylines will become more pronounced and tie together

i have full confidence the viewers wont be disappointed

Sounds to me that the who story is a ONE WAY ticket to to the island...either trapped or dead/purgatory/hell, etc.

I've just got my fingers crossed that the Lost mythology doesn't turn to crap like the formerly cool Milo Rambaldi storyline over at Abram's other show. At least the seed of Affleck hasn't tainted the lead character of this show, rendering the show unwatchable. Yet.
