The creators of the show said that everything in the show is based off of science and is not someone's dream, nor in someone's head.

watching all the castaways scurrying over the dropped off food, at the beginning, just made it look like rats in an experiment. add to that the costume make up that Kate found (btw, did she tell anyone about that yet?).

In the preview for next week, Lock is trying to write down what was on the wall from memory. At least that is what I saw.

I don't get the tear in Libby's eye when she kissed Hurley and then the look she gave the camera immediately after the kiss?? Like the kiss was sincere but she is still plotting something...

If somebody is reading this and didn't watch last night then they have no right to complain. What are you going to do? Avoid watching ABC for the next week just incase at some point they will show previews?

"In the preview for next week"
I'd have to say that you could stop there if you didn't want to know. Seriously, I hate people like you.

Yeah, I was wondering that too. She had kind of a pissed look on her face. Like she was mad at herself for kissing a crazy fat guy.
I like that theory! Always thought the Philadelphia Experiment type stuff makes for good SciFi.Originally posted by: 911paramedic
My theory:
1. That base is a "Philadelphia Experiment" thingy, and the island is "out of phase". (why nobody can find them after the crash)
2. The fake Gale said he didn't enter the sequence and let it go to zero; the island was visible for the air drop. ...OR...
He did enter the numbers but he lied in order to make them think nothing will happen, and the others need it to stop in order for SOMETHING to happen that they want. (what that is, I don't know. Maybe they have a hard time seeing that part of the island when it's on, maybe they are the black cloud - out of phase people venturing in - and that's why they didn't mess with the Brute Squad guy in that one episode, maybe...)
3. Libby was in the hospital with Hurley, and it doesn't require some huge twist. Remember that the original guy pushing the 108 minute button knew the Doc IRL before the crash.
4. I love this show.
