Yeah, that was very obvious.

That's the bar where Sawyer and Jack's dad meet and he tells Sawyer about how the Red Sox will never win the world series and then on the island Jack says that the Red Sox will never win the series and Sawyer figures out that he had a drink with Jack's dad.

Has Lost created too many loose ends to to create a storyline where all the pieces will fit back together? As a viewer, I am not looking for 1 episode that provdes the "grand ultimate theory" and explains away everything. But at the same time, it would seem that each week we are led deeper and deeper down the rabbit's hole, with the plot constantly thickening. For me, I love the show, but it's approaching the point where I am losing interest. I know, it's only a TV show, but bloody hell, they have me hooked and I am craving some resolution.

05/03 - Lindelof ? Cuse: We'll see the resolution of the Michael-Walt story. We're going to answer the question of where Michael has been and resolve the story of him and Walt. The growth of Malcolm David Kelly (Walt) will be addressed in the 3rd season. We'll learn more about Dharma. Desmond will shed some more light on his experience on the island in the three years prior to when Locke came down into that hatch. There is more stuff between Sawyer/Kate/Jack, but the focus is not on the romance between those characters. There are bigger fish to fry. Ana-Lucia and Jack were not in a place where we felt it was believable for them to have a romance. Charlie and Claire have been on a break and there's definitely some advancement in their relationship as part of the finale. the perception might be that we dropped the idea of forming an army, what actually happened was that more significant things replaced the need to develop an army. But that concept is indeed coming back for the finale. You can expect to see more of Rousseau next year, but the story of the wrecked research vessel? it will be coming at some point but we can't guarantee it'll be in Season 3. We'll be introducing new characters in Season 3, so you'll be getting fresh flashbacks. You'll probably see fewer flashbacks of our original characters as we begin to move toward certain inevitabilities. You will learn more about some of the other survivors next year. Also, where the new characters come from in Season 3 is going be part of the fun and anticipation over the summer, and hopefully by the end of the finale you'll be getting some sense of who those characters might be. We are going to produce the next 22 hours of Lost in Season 3.

Ok. Here's what I think.
Libby CAN"T die right away. There has been too many hints from the producers that LIbbys back story is very important.
I don't think they would do a backstory if she were dead.
Two possibilites. She is so badly wounded she is in a coma or drifting in and out and can't tell anyone it was Michael who shot her.

AND here is my guess:
Libby will live for a short while. We will get her backstory and she will tell the Losties that Michael shot her.
BUT
Hurley sees Libby after Libby is shot and seeing her all disheveled he remembers where he saw her. The mental institution.
So everyone thinks Libby is crazy and trusts what Michael tells them. After all they KNOW Michael (or think they do).
Once Libbys back story is done, she dies.
And Michael either disappears back to the Others or Hurly kills him for killing Libby.

That's quite plausible IMO.
There's no way Libby is dead, there was a reason she was holding that pillow (?) or whatever it was that the bullets hit.

If anyone has a screen cap of that moment when she got shot so we can see where she was hit.....we'll know whether she's alive or dead

I think Libby is dead. I can't confirm (don't feel like it), but I hear that she is going to be starting a new show so that pretty much seals the deal. And Michael better have been corrupted, if he just "did it for his son", geez, then please die now.

Good episode, but I knew something was up with Michael. I think it was pretty obvoius that he was making stuff up when was explaining how "the others" looked and how there were just animals.

Jack and the other people should have known that there was no way...NO WAY...that Michael would leave his son to go back and get help. He would have tried to save his son or die trying, that much is obvious. So when he said he came back for help they should have known he was lying.

And I'm sad we don't get to see more Ana-Lucia in her low-rise jeans That episode pissed me off
