Hurley was/is a leader? News to me. He was pretty much apathetic about everything but his precious Libby. Even when she was killed he didn't want to do anything, take any initiative.

I was actually hoping that letting the thing go did nothing, the fact that it really had some effect was something of a let down...also they gave zero insight as to who the other people were...

The field with the vacuum tubes was odd and kinda creepy at first, originally I thought it was an indication that locke was right, but thinking about it desmonds theory makes more sense seeing as the observation tubes went no where.

Oh well guess October it is

So, you forgot he was ion the island doign a survey. That was teh last scene with him in it. They never showed him going back to the boat.

1) The others have him (popssibly sun and Syid also)

Well Desmond's wife is alive.. and she isnt on the island. That was also the first non-flash back into the "real world" for the show.

Nothing's happened to Sayid, as far as we know...they showed Jin, Sun and Sayid back on the boat when the sky went crazy...

So where will next season's focus be? With the survivors left with no leaders but the knowledge of the Others from Hurley, what will they do...they'll definitely show Jack & Co's tribulations at the hands of the Others...and of course, we have that entire new angle of Outsiders to think about now.
