The opening was pretty good but the flash backs are getting annoying as hell. I prefer linear story telling.

I thought they let Hurley go so that he could go back to his camp and tell the other people. I don't think they are scared of the surivors especially not that Jack and Sawyer (and Michael) are gone.

we don't know. but the first 5 minutes shows us that there is civilized people living on the island in a society that seems "normal" to most. that was the most shocking part about it.

As some of you guys seem to have a pretty good idea/memory about what's going on, I've got a question about last season. At the end, after Desmond caused the big, erm, white out if you will, those guys(somewhere cold looking) phoned up Penelope didn't they? Saying that they'd found 'it' or something?

What was that all about? Any ideas?

If she had been looking for this Dharma initiative or some such, and she can afford to have random guys in outstations looking for it, then I'm not so sure if the people on the island are tied to a government or some such. They'll blatantly have a token 1337 h4XX0r master who gets their information somehow or something.

As someone said earlier, I'm happy when it starts, and always p!ssed when it finishes.

Just watched it on abc.com, awesome episode. When they run out of the book club and you see the plane and the leader dude it totally twists you around. That show rocks!

That episode was probably one of the worst I've seen in a long while. It was interesting towards the beginning, but then it quickly faded into junk. I'm totally disappointed.

Anyone else pissed at the commercials? I think I ocunted 6 commercial breaks during the show. It was like 7.5 minutes of show then 2.5 minutes of commercials. Want to loose viewers? ABC might be on their way! I mean seriously ... it was noticable how fast hte commercials were coming. I might be waiting to watch via torrent for hte rest of hte season if this BS keeps up.

At work, 5 people watched it ... 3(including myself) thought there were to many commercials.

How can there be more commercials. Everytime you go to torrent sites to download, episodes are 350mb and also 43 minutes.. maybe they split the show up more this time, but honestly, commercial time = same.

They started the show at 9 PM .... the show ended and immediately ran into The Nine. There was probably 3 more minutes all told .... but when they go to commercial every 8 minutes ... that's just f'ing anoying.

The trick is, no matter what any of the would-be others say you can't trust it. "That speaker hasn't worked in years".... could be total lie... the entire palce being run-down and trashed could be a lie You simply don't know. You can't beleive anything you see or hear on the show until its proven otherwise... and even then who knows.

The one thing that keep sbuggin me is the Rousou character. In all those years (if its true) she's never found that town? or any other piece of the "other lifes of the others"? Seems weird. And where is she? And what about that pirate ship? and... and ....
