AGAIN I will ask, why did Locke blow up the submarine?!?!? just because it existed didn't mean his 'dad' could find him neccesarily.

They just told you. He didn't want his dad to be able to ever find him. If Jack had left and tried to get help people might find the island. It's also why Locke blew up the communications building.

Well, that and he is afraid that he'll never be able to walk again if he does leave.

locke is a little nutty if you havent noticed already.
the guy was in a wheelchair and crashing on the island was a catalyst for him walking again. then being stranded on an island and obsessing about it i'm sure had no effect on his already fragile mental capacity from one heck of a ****** up past.
blowing up the submarine is in no way outside the realm of locke's actions.
i think the season is starting to pick up, and i hope the end result is not stupid. but i dont see stupid yet.

right, but I'm saying why does that mean NO ONE can leave. I dunno, the logic was shaky. The thing with his dad kinda makes sense...but it's a bit of a jump....the whole "i might never walk if I leave here" is a huge leap
I think it is along the same lines as Jack seeing his Dad, Echo seeing his brother, the white horse, the polar bears, etc etc etcOriginally posted by: techs
Was Lockes father really there? Or was it an illusion?
