What about Walt? Also weren't there some other children shown running around barefoot with the Hostiles/Others a season or two ago? They took a few of the survivors with children too. Also Claire had a baby on the island. Plus the Dharma people had kids on the island (Ben himself was just a child when he first arrived on the island).

No. None of the Dharma people had kids on the island. Claire's was conceived off the island, thus it was already living off the island, so it was allowed to be born on the island.
I've said this before, and the show has yet to disprove me: No new life is allowed on the island.
Also, when they gassed the Dharma people, in every scene they show of the dead, NO KIDS. All adults.

But...Sun is pregnant with Jin's child, which was conceived on the island. We'll see if your theory holds up when she gives birth

I don't see why she should be the exception. But she's got, what, 8 months before birth? Dunno when the women die, but if they get off this island within 8 months, I guess she'll be fine

She looks more buff in person than she is in the show...I'm so conflicted. Cute face...body of a 17-year old male basketball player...

my guess is that jacob is very powerful but that somehow ben has managed to keep him imprisoned in that house, perhaps with that ring of dirt/sand/gunpowder/whatever. ben makes it seem like jacob is still in control so that no one tries to kill ben in order to release jacob. the imprisonment is why jacob asks locke to help him. locke knows too much about jacob's and ben's situation and so ben has to kill locke to maintain control of the others.

yeah, it's those little ties ins that I love about the show. But I thought the last episode was "meh" I want a few episodes that answers more questions than it brings up, is that too much to ask?

Zap2it.com has a largely ignored interview with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse on their website. It's mostly about the announcement of three more seasons of 16 episodes each, but there is some new information about the type of characters who die in the finale:
So you're not going to tell me who dies.
Cuse: Well, at least five people die.
Lindelof: But, you know, not like five major, major characters. But a couple of major characters.
Cuse: I think probably if you're a close viewer of the show you could name all five people.

Sun
Sawyer (hope not)
Juliet
