Did you hear what jack said about 'we weren't supposed to leave, we have to go back" and the 'tired of lying' line....They must've gotten a few of them off the island somehow, and left the others behind...maybe lying and saying they were dead as part of some deal to save themselves.

I think the funeral was ben's...you can tell Jack was really disturbed when he heard about the death...and it would appear jack wants to go back and maybe ben knows how?

I still think they're all in the matrix/vr and they were unplugged

The issue I have with these "flashbacks" being in the future is that Jack makes the comment "Go upstairs and talk to my dad... if I'm more drunk than him you can fire me!"... If it's the future... Jack's dad is dead.

The funeral could be many people. I'm not sure yet but maybe Locke? I agree that Kate is with Sawyer and I hope that's not a spoiler

He was on OCs. Which is basically heroin. It makes you relaxed, it doesn't make you hallucinate or become delusional.
