However to me the name looks like Johnathan (Unless they are using a full name, then the first name starts with J and the last name ends in -than or something that looks alot like those letters). Locke Perhaps? Make sense since he would have no family that would come and see him.

Going through the thread AFTER I watched the show. To those that were positng half way through Lost. If your goal is to enjoy the episode, why are you posting during the show? Watch the show and enjoy it. Why the hell are you on the internet typing away while trying to relax and enjoy your time with Lost?

Well that was one of the best finales ever. Moreso the second part. Funniest thing is how many people could ID the Motorola phone and date it. I don't have a cell phone and even I noticed it; damn marketting. Thought Kate was a hallucination at the end, then somehow finally figured out it was a future-view. Knew something was up since there was never any indication of Jack's crackhead-ism before getting on the island.

Charlie's death was also one of the best death scenes ever. I call semi-BS on why he didn't run out the door, then close it, but he obviously had his mind set on dying. Then again, he probably could have swam out the porthole in time, if it wasn't for his need to give the message to Desmond.

One more thing, did anyone else find it hilarious when the one-eyed bastard swam up to the porthole with a grenade:laugh:. I was laughing out loud when they showed that...

So what's next season going to be about? Jack organizing a group to turn back time if he could find a way... Seems like an Alice in Wonderland/Wizard of Oz/Life on Mars-ish theme.

I think this is probably the cliff hanger for season 3. Well ... that's another topic. What hte heck is the cliff hanger? I really think it is possible that we will see Lost taking place i nthe future with flashbacks of the rescue come season 4. Atleast to start season 4.

The fact that it was a flashforward was kinda like The Sixth Sense. You don't really know Bruce Willis' character was dead till the very end. I kinda had the same reaction to tongiths epsiode that I had at the end of The Sizth Sense when I realized Jack talking to Kate meant that they are off the island and this was the future.

Because this is Lost .... For a split second I thought Kate and Jack were part of the Dharma initiative or The Others or something. Silly me.

Good finale. Seasons 1,2 were way better though. I really don't know what to expect next season. No big cliff hanger other than what happens after the phone call that ended the show.
