I see ''the body of J..... ...tly".

I saw that too at first, but the lines dont line up exactly. See that text above the "tly after" part, thats actually the continuation of the 1st line. The sentence "The body of Jortly after 4" makes no sense, but "The body of Johnathan of New [York] was [found] shortly after 4 a.m." makes sense, you have to go up one line on the right side to fit it with the left side.

Well that is a good question, she definitely knows about the project, with this and then the end of season 2, knowing to look for whatever happened when the hatch blew up.

Oh, the producers said 5 main charcters would die..... let's figure that one out. Who died? This is starting with the episode where Charlie was told that he had to die.

1) Charlie
2) Zeek

And I am tired,

Things that were satisfying:

1. Alex meeting her mom
2. Ben getting the crap beat out of him
3. Hurley rolling over the bad guys with the bus
4. Sawyer shooting the last bad guy
5. Sayid breaking that guy's neck with his feet

Things that were not satisying:

1. Why Charlie chose to kill himself
2. Patchy, who's probably STILL not dead after the blast
3. The ending

Overall a good episode up until the very last part.

So they never really left the island, the "rescuers" were baddies, they hooked them up to matrix-like machines or put them in a room and drugged the crap out of them. There's no way they left that island.

Unless they left the island, the rescuers weren't baddies, they're not hooked up to any machines or drugged out (sans Jack) and next season will start like Battlestar Galactica did this season with a change of scenery, and after a few weeks they'll get back to the island like humanity left New Caprica and got back into space.

they left the island by being unplugged...

ben knew real life sux, only life in the matrix rocks, you can make anything happen.

once jack was unplugged from the matrix, he went back to the real world and realized how much it sucked, he is trying to get back into the matrix and he will be reloaded.

either that or it was really a flashback and he has already been reloaded in the matrix and he's doing it all over again. taking charge...the way he likes it. in the real world, he does not have this reality.

1. Charlie chose to die, because Desmond told him that was the only way Claire and Aaron would be saved.
2. Jack made a reference to his father because he was either out of it due to drugs and alcohol, or as a joke.
3. Jack's flashbacks were actually flashforwards. He and Kate have done something in the future to get off of the island. Something that they are not proud of and involved lying. This implies that others are still on the island.

what didn't make sense is that desmond trying hard to save him? why? did he tell charlie a lie and his vision really didn't involve charlie dying? why did he lie to charlie? is it because he's just tired of saving charlie all the time....all the flashbacks prove that desmond is a quitter...

that shoud be what doesn't make sense to all of us, not why charlie decided to die. that should be very obvious by now.

I'm not entirely convinced Desmond was trying to save Charlie. He saw Penny on the screen. He probably just wanted to save the computer (somehow) so he could communicate with her.

hmm..good point....but did he really see the screen? I would say no because he was socked when charlie wrote on his hand "not penny's boat"

that would imply he didn't see the screen...also, they showed a side view outside the room and the screen was black like it didn't have a good viewing angle.
