alright, so I'm guessing that this is the big twist...maybe this unites ben and Jack now. But I'm wondering why Charlie had to shut the chamber...not like they had to stay there and if they made the swim down, of course they could make it back up. Hmph.

Charlie had to die if that girl and the baby are to be rescued per Desmond. Desmond was right before when CHarlie almost died. So, Charlie had no option but to trust Desmond..

Because leaving that door open would have unpressurized the moon pool as well...

Yeah, yeah.. whatever.. you posted two things that I know to have been known spoilers. I've been able to guess alot of things myself, but not to high detail like those spoilers. It's because of some jerks at my work that I knew those spoilers and people that ruin it for others piss me off.
