I desperately need some PC help. In the course of trying to install Windows
2000 on my desktop PC (which already had Windows NT 4.0 Workstation
installed) at home, I inadvertently deleted the partition which was on my
Iomega Jaz 1GB removable disk. This was NOT the boot disk. Just a disk with
an extended partition on it to backup files.
To make matters worse, I recreated the partition using Windows NT 4.0 Disk
Administrator and then did a "Quick" format.
The old partition table entries have all been wiped out so I can't actually
see or access the data on the Jaz disk. However, I know the data is still on
the disk. Just need to figure out a way to get it back.
Do you know of any disk recovery utilities that will work on Windows NT 4.0
(or even Windows 95/98 or even DOS) to recover the files?
