Sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing someone like a brother so suddenly like that. I try to convince myself that we were "fortunate" that we had nearly a year to prepare for the death of my brother, but the reality is that it's never easy, and no idea when it ever gets better.

i'm very saddened by your news, and wish you peace and serenity. i can't imagine losing one of my brothers, although losing any family member is immensely difficult.

Sorry to hear that. It's always tough to lose a loved one, especially so young. And there are always regrets.

Life has a way at times of just giving you a big dope slap. Got home from work yesterday and an hour later got a call that I should come over to my brothers house, he's had an accident. He lives about 10 minutes from me and when I got there the police told me he was dead, they found him at the bottom of the steps that went to the bedroom level of his townhouse. They wouldn't let us in his house while they were investigating and at this point we have no idea what happened to him, whether he tripped and fell down the steps or had a heart attack while going up/down. There is no indication of any foul play involved so now we are just waiting for the answers.

Be sure to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you occasionally as you never know when you won't have the chance to do so. My last conversation with my brother was a few days ago and I rushed him off the phone as we were having a mild argument regarding issues with our mother.

I kept having visions of this exact thing about my father when he was alive. He couldn't walk well and was afraid he'd fall and no one would be there to help.

Instead he ended up with Necrotizing fasciitis.

While I wouldn't be very saddened by the loss of my brother as he has done nothing for me and shows me no love nor affection, I can understand your pain and sadness by losing someone close to you that you love, you have my condolences.
