Question Lost my ISP for 5 days. Phone tether works on some services but not others.

A component for my ISP connection broke today. My ISP can't get a tech to my house until Tuesday. I tethered my phone to my PC and tried to access some game launchers. Some work and some don't and I don't know why. I'm trying to put some of these services in Offline mode. But for some games, I have to be online first so I can put them in offline mode. Web browsing and YouTube work.

STEAM (Login doesn't work. Says I've lost connection. Can launch single player games. Cannot launch GTAV in Story Mode)
EPIC (Can login. Can launch single player games. Cannot launch RDR2.)
RockStar Games (Cannot login. Cannot launch any game)
UPLAY (Cannot login. Cannot launch any games online or offline.)

Is there a setting in the tether I'm missing? Really confused why some things work and some don't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

A lot of cellular tether have restrictions/limits/IP issues. It could be any of the above.

Personally, I wouldn't mess with it and let your isp fix the main connection. You don't want to make changes that make the tethering work but then break when you get your connection back.
