Lost my remote starter controller

I had a remote starter/alarm installed on our 2001 Camry by a local car stereo/alarm specialist. The batteries kept failing in all 3 controllers that we had, they'd last a month or so then would stop working. Anyhow, the shop said that the batch of batteries they were using were recalled due to similar complaints. The guy told me to bring down the 3 remotes and he'd swap in new batteries. So I go around and get the 3 remotes off the different keychains, put them *somewhere*, now I can't find them. This really sucks, and I feel stupid going down to the repair place and telling them what I did, but I have no choice. Will they be able to get 3 replacement controllers without replacing the remote starter in the vehicle? I would think it's possible, but you never know. I'm sure it'll be a little expensive, but it was my own fault, I just hope the whole system doesn't need to be replaced?

Why didn't you leave them on the keychains? Like to keep the controller and keys in different hands?

Yeah I was a jackass for losing them, I can't believe I lost all 3. I hope they can replace them; I know each additional controller was 30 bucks, so I figure this will cost me around $90, assuming they can program 3 new ones for me.

Yeah, there's a procedure for programming new remotes to your system that they will know how to do.

For example, I remember with Nissan factory remotes, the procedure was to get in the car, lock the door with the power lock button, remove and insert the key 5 times until the hazard lights flash, then press "lock" on the remote you wanted to program for the car. Viola, the new remote would now operate the keyless entry.
